Sometimes the footage already exists. Somebody filmed an event, a plant tour, a set of interviews, and it is sitting on a drive because nobody had time to do anything with it.
That is a real problem and it is a fixable one.
What we edit
Interview footage. Somebody recorded conversations and nobody has cut them into anything. This is the most common one and usually the most valuable, because the material is already there.
Event coverage. Hours of footage from a conference, gala, or company event that never became anything.
Existing libraries. Old shoot days that produced more than got used. Most companies use about ten percent of what they paid for.
Product and process footage. Raw material from a plant floor or a job site that needs shaping.
Social cuts from a finished video. You have a three minute piece and need fifteen shorter ones from the same footage.
How we work with footage we did not shoot
We watch all of it first. That sounds obvious and it is the part people skip.
Then we tell you honestly what is in there. Sometimes it is a strong three minute video. Sometimes it is a good ninety second piece and a set of clips. Occasionally it is not enough and the right answer is to film more, which we will say plainly rather than stretching thin material.
What we do not do
We do not fix bad audio. Nobody can. A soft image can be improved, a room cannot be un-recorded.
If the audio is unusable, we will tell you before taking the project rather than after.
Delivery
Main edit plus whatever formats you need. Horizontal for web and YouTube, vertical for reels and stories, square for feeds.
Captions burned in on social cuts, since most of these are watched with sound off.
Two rounds of revisions included.
Where we work
Based in Greensboro, working across the Triad and North Carolina. Editing work does not require us to be in the room, so location matters less here than on a shoot.
Short version
If you have footage sitting unused, editing is cheaper than filming again.
We watch everything before telling you what it can become.
Interview footage is usually worth more than people think.
Bad audio cannot be fixed, and we will tell you that up front.
