Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your business and your project. We only collect what you choose to type in.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this one collects basic technical information when you visit. That includes your general location, the pages you view, how long you stay, what site sent you here, and what kind of device and browser you are using. This is collected through Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
We do not collect payment information on this website. Invoicing is handled separately through Square.
Why we collect it
To respond to you. If you fill out the contact form, we use your information to reply and to prepare for a conversation about your project.
To understand what people find useful. Analytics tells us which pages get read and which do not. That helps us write better ones.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a mailing list without you asking to be on one.
Who else can see it
A few services we use can access data collected through this site:
Adobe Portfolio hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
Google provides Analytics and Search Console, which show us traffic and search performance.
Google Workspace handles our email, so any message you send us lives in an email inbox.
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
This site uses cookies through Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the pages. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions stay in our email indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any information you have given us. Email dylan@withatwistmedia.com and we will take care of it.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add on Google provides for that purpose.
Video and photography
If we film or photograph you as part of a project, how that footage is used is governed by the production agreement for that project, not by this policy. We do not publish client footage without permission.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including client work on YouTube and case studies hosted elsewhere. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
